General

What does LetUsTech do?

+
LetUsTech provides IT support and managed services for businesses and home users across the UK. We handle everything from day-to-day helpdesk queries and remote support, through to network management, cyber security, Microsoft 365, and website development.

Do you work with businesses and home users?

+
Yes. We support both. For businesses, we offer managed support plans and consultancy. For home users, we offer pay-as-you-go remote and on-site support — perfect for one-off issues without a monthly commitment.

Where are you based?

+
We're based in Liverpool, Merseyside. We offer remote support nationwide and on-site support in the Liverpool and surrounding areas. Remote support means we can help most clients without needing to visit in person.

How do I get started?

+
The easiest way is to use the contact form on our homepage or email us at letustec@gmail.com. We offer a free initial consultation — no obligation.
Remote Support

How does remote support work?

+
We use Windows Quick Assist (built into Windows 10 and 11) to connect to your machine securely. You run Quick Assist, select "Get assistance", and share the 6-digit code with us. We can then see and control your screen — with your permission — to diagnose and fix the issue. You can end the session at any time.

Is remote access safe?

+
Yes. We use Microsoft's Quick Assist, which is encrypted and built into Windows. You generate a one-time code to share with us — we cannot access your machine without it. You can see everything we do on screen in real time and stop the session instantly if needed.

What can you fix remotely?

+
Most software issues can be resolved remotely — this includes slow PCs, virus removal, software installation, printer problems, email setup, Microsoft 365 issues, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and general Windows problems. Hardware faults that require physical access will need an on-site visit.

How quickly can you respond?

+
We aim to respond to all enquiries within one hour during business hours (Monday–Friday 9am–5:30pm). Managed clients on a support plan receive priority response. Emergency cover is available for managed clients outside of normal hours.
Pricing & Billing

How much does it cost?

+
Home support starts from £35 per hour. Business support plans start from £299 per month. Managed IT packages are priced based on your specific requirements. We offer a free initial consultation so we can give you an accurate quote before any work begins. See our pricing page for more detail.

Are there any hidden charges?

+
No. We quote clearly before starting any work. There are no hidden callout fees, no surprise invoices, and no charges for the initial consultation. If anything changes mid-job, we'll let you know before proceeding.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

+
Home users can use us on a pay-as-you-go basis — no contract. Business support plans are typically month-to-month. Managed IT packages may have a minimum term depending on the scope of work. We'll always be clear about this upfront.
Security & Privacy

Do you follow GDPR?

+
Yes. We take data protection seriously. We collect only the information needed to provide our services, handle it securely, and never sell or share it with third parties. You can read our full Privacy Policy for details.

What data do you keep after a support session?

+
We retain basic records of support sessions (date, nature of issue, resolution) for service continuity. We do not retain copies of your files or screen recordings. Contact us if you want details of what we hold about you.

Are your programs safe to download?

+
Yes. Our support tool and desktop software are clean — no malware, no trackers. We still recommend scanning any downloaded file with your antivirus software as good practice.
Services

Can you set up Microsoft 365 for my business?

+
Yes. We handle Microsoft 365 setup, migration from older email systems, Teams and SharePoint configuration, licence management, and ongoing support. We also handle email migrations from Gmail, cPanel, and other providers.

Do you build websites?

+
Yes. We design and build professional websites — from simple business sites to more complex web applications. All our websites are mobile-friendly, fast-loading, and built with SEO in mind. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.

What operating systems do you support?

+
Primarily Windows 10 and Windows 11. We also provide support for macOS. Our remote support tool is Windows-based. For other operating systems, contact us first and we'll advise on the best approach.

Can you help if I think I have a virus?

+
Yes — this is one of the most common things we deal with. We can run scans, remove malware, check for suspicious processes, and secure your machine. If you suspect you've been compromised, contact us as soon as possible to minimise any impact.
